Today is 1st December.
In Latin, decem means "ten". December was also the tenth month in the Roamn calendar.

Today children start to open the doors on the advent calendars. Today children open door number ONE.
There are only 25 days until CHRISTMAS DAY.
There are only 21 days until the CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS!

Here is a great song for you to listen to by the ENGLISH band MAROON FIVE.
It is very fast (rápido), but you can try the chorus ( = el estribillo)
